Abstract

This assistance is aimed to train students in improving speaking skills in order to make easy in conveying messages and ideas to others. It is Located in Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. It has two research problems, they are, (1) How is the speaking skill empowerment through discourse techniques to the students in building public speaking communication? (2) How are the obstacles faced by students in Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School?. The assistant explores interview data and documentation data by the data analysis technique. The results show that (1) The activities of muhadharah discourse training in Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is carried out once a week on Saturday evening. (2) With great motivation, the students will carry out activities with focus on the objectives of the learning process. (3) Muhadharah is carried out by all caretakers and all students in Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Permendiknas No. 22 of 2006 concerning Content Standards states that the School-Based Curriculum (KTSP) containing several main subjects and local contents (mulok) which must be given in all education levels. Guidance in reading the yellow book (BMK) is one part of curriculum development on local content in MTs Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Putra who emphasizes the mastery in reading the yellow book. Assistance is carried out in learning activities, which include various methods, such as khataman, discussion, and lecture as an effort to master the yellow book, as material for students to face the madrasah competency test, which we need to know that there are two competency that must be mastered by MTs Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Putra students as one of the requirements for graduation.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the improvement of the competence of Olympic workshop participants in problem-solving of mathematics Olympiad for mathematics teachers of Junior High Schools in the Madiun Regency by using the qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were 66 participants of junior high school mathematics teachers workshop organized by Mathematics teachers in each junior high school or MGMP in collaboration with the Depatment of Education and Culture of Madiun Regency. The data collection were carried out with a written test in the description form consisting the results of pre-test, post-test, practice questions, presentations from each group and observation results during the workshop. The results indicated that the mathematics Olympiad workshop activities for Junior High School mathematics teachers in Madiun Regency could increase the understanding of workshop participants in solving mathematics Olympiad questions. This improvement could be seen from the answers of practice questions as well as from the presentations session whereas the teachers could clearly describe several topics such as an algebraic, number theory, geometry, combinatorics, and statistics. However, an advanced Olympics workshops are still needed to help the teachers of Junior High School mathematics Olympiad in Madiun Regency.

Abstract

The physical gross motor was the focus of this commitment. There are 37 percent minimalist schools in Malang. As a result, it is unable to conduct motor physical activities optimally. That difficulty was solved by implementing a circuit. To aid in the physical development of gross motor skills. Despite the fact that it was a minimalist school. Teachers can create circuits in their classrooms after receiving training. Material used in child-safe circuits. The material used can be saved. and used once more.

Abstract

Tahsin Al Qur'an activities are carried out to optimize the learning of the Koran to students in Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic boarding school. This activity is carried out outside formal pesantren education, as an effort to cover the shortage of Qur'an learning time in madrasas and hostel. In this activity, students are grouped based on their ability to read the Qur'an. The supervisor uses the Gabriel method as a learning method. The core of the implementation of the Gabriel method is the talqin-taqlid technique, (imitating), namely students imitating readings exemplified by the mentor, both classically, groups, and individuals. This can be done repeatedly until the santri master well in the readings and theories conveyed.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools today require a planning document that describes a series of historical past as a philosophical basis for making changes in the future. The Sukorejo Pesantren strategic plan document that is being prepared through the team uses descriptive qualitative writing methods. Digging data sources with historical and phenomenological approaches. The purpose of the strategic plan is the realization of the strategic plan that will be used as a reference for organizers and managers of pesantren, both those who are undergoing leadership and future generations. The content is not only about history, but digs up-to-date information as a material for the characteristics and identity of pesantren which is maintained at all times. For this reason, the theoretical basis for preparing this strategic plan as an academic activity is the theory of change, progress, and change.

Abstract

The availability of ICT-based learning tools is one of the supports for the creation of classes that implement E-learning. The learning process can occur if there are at least two main elements, namely: (1) people who learn, and (2) learning resources. Learning resources include people (resource persons), tools (hardware), materials (software), environment (background, settings) and others. Learning tools are one type of learning resource and become an element that has a very important role in e-learning. There is no e-larning without the availability of learning tools, so the ability of teachers to develop ICT-based learning tools becomes very important. This learning device is often also called an internet-based learning device or online learning device. Three main characteristics of this learning tool include: (1) presenting multi media, (2) preparing, processing and presenting information, and (3) hyperlinks. The nature of this online learning tool has the advantage that it can be accessed anytime and anywhere as long as it has internet access, so that the teacher has the ability to develop ICT-based learning tools. These characteristics make the source of learning tools very rich, and the availability of appropriate ICT-based guided inquiry learning model tools is very much needed as a relevant learning resource.

Abstract

There are still plenty of radicalism and intolerance in Indonesia, like suicide bombing, Bali bombing, police station attacks and so on. The Managing Director of Wahid Institutes, Yenny Wahid (2017) said that the survey's results show that there is an increase in radical understanding in Indonesia, numbering 600,000 or 0.4 percent of Indonesia's population. A misinterpretation of religious texts and particularly those concerning the theme of jihad is a contributing factor. The method of service is conducted through workshops and seminars. After the priests took part, they gained new positive insights into the spread of Pesantren deradicalization and tolerance.
